9/1/09 Washington, DC

We went into the city again to do our second day of the hop-on/hop-off bus tour. The weather these two days, could not have been better. No rain, not too hot, not muggy, a little breezy. . . perfect!!

We had decided that we would try to spend some time at a couple of the sites that fascinated us. But, unfortunately, one would need months of 24/7 touristing to see everything interesting in this city. I wanted to see the Int'l Spy Museum and the Holocaust Museum. We were only able to see the Spy Museum and it was fascinating. . . everything you could possibly want to know about spys starting with the Trojan Horse of Troy to spying today. We were inside the museum for three hours and quite surprised that the time had gone by so quickly. Barry wanted to see the White House as close up as possible and the NASA Museum. . . we only saw the White House.

The Spy Museum

Our tour bus, a very comfortable ride

Obviously, The Smithsonian American Art Museum

The Treasury Building. . . all our money must be in there, mine is almost all gone

The White House, from as close as we were allowed
