Took a trip to "Amish country". . . didn't see as much as we would have liked. Apparently, it has become quite commercial. I saw fabulous quilts. . . probably took 5-600 hours of hand quilting to complete. Stores commission the Amish women to make them. Ones I liked were $1,350. Not cheap, but definitely heirloom quality.

We loved touring PA...Philly iin particular...hope you took one of the buggy rides...we did - up and down those quaint streets..did you do the Liberty Bell? So much history there. Betty/VC
